I guess there are people around me who think that I can’t cook. But hey, I’m proud to tell you that I can! At least I get an A rating when it comes to my husband’s taste bud, hehe (lav yah Dabs). I love watching cooking shows (kaya nga fan ako ni Kris eh, hehe), reading cookbooks and browsing recipes from the internet. I even told hubby that I want to to enroll my self in a culinary school or go to a “baking” school.
Well, last night before going to sleep I made a special dessert called mango float, hehe. :) It’s very easy to prepare, no sweat at all. Here’s a pic of my delicious float:
Yummy...I love it!
To add twist to this dessert, I add a little vanilla and mashed ripe mangoes to the milk and cream mixture and chilled it before putting it on top of the graham crackers.
For our breakfast this morning, I prepared a tortang giniling na baboy (ground pork with egg). I got the recipe from the internet. This one is very easy to make too.
Taste good!
Saute first garlic and onion and then add the ground pork. I put a little Maggi Magic Sarap :) to add flavor to it. After the pork turned a little brown remove it from the pan and pour it in a bowl of beaten egg seasoned with a pinch of salt and pepper. Then fry again until it turns golden brown.
My hubby really appreciated me for what I prepared in our table. I’m just sooo happy! :)

I love food!
Who loves food? I do. A lot of Filipinos love to eat. Kaya nga mahilig tayo sa mga gatherings ksi may handaan lagi...yummy! :) Ako, madalas mag-experiment ng luto sa kusina especially now that I'm a wife and a mother (I have to prepare delicious and nutritious food for my family).
When I got married and transferred here in Gensan last year, I immediately bought a cookbook. Here are two of my masterpieces, hehe...proud to be made only here in the tuna capital of the Philippines, Gensan.
Meatballs with sweet and sour sauce
Filipino style spaghetti
